Community groups round table: Understanding community needs and challenges for Digital Action

During November 2022, the academic partners in the UK, Malta and France organised a series of roundtables with community groups, voluntary organisations and HE staff.

The participants in the roundtables for community groups were a varied group that included mostly young adults with no prior experience in DA. The discussions were animated and not only gave us a great overview of the challenges to participation in DA, but also of the needs of communities, the ways in which HEIs could contribute and the motivations for engagement. And most importantly, they served as a great motivation for those participating to engage in future DA!
