Digital Actions for refugees and asylum seekers in Cyprus
On the 24th of February, participants from grassroots communities of the AMIF project DREAMM, working towards the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in Cyprus, participated in CIP’s introductory session on basic programming skills, Latex and microcontrollers. Participants experimented with Arduino applications, such as a Motion Detector and a Humidity Sensor, followed by a discussion on how the advancement of coding skills can bridge social gaps through both employability opportunities and engagement in maker movement actions.
