Training: Maker movement: methodology, scope, practices
The training event “Fabrication of Artefacts as co-creation opportunities for better societies: Environmental projects with Microcontrollers”, organised by CIP, took place on the 16th of December 2021 in Nicosia, Cyprus. Attendees were introduced to the use of innovative technologies as a resource for the co-creation of opportunities for better societies, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Motion detectors using Arduino and a re-usable 3D printed face mask were among the projects introduced to participants. For example, participants were trained to design a simple yet accurate physical distancing system as a solution to the social distancing protocols in place due to the pandemic.
