Training: Maker movement: methodology, scope, practices

On the 29th of March 2022 CIP facilitated the training workshop “Maker movement: methodology, scope and practices”, in Nicosia Cyprus. The workshop included a 15-minute presentation on the benefits of 3D printing, including amongst others; fewer parts needing outsourcing for manufacturing, the reduction of waste material, recycling potential and avoidance of supply chain issues. What followed was a 45-minute hands-on training with  2 in-house 3D printers, including set-up, functions and programming options. Thus, the event provided customised training opportunities to grassroot communities in an effort to improve their digital skills on 3D-printing technologies and grow familiarity with Maker Movement actions.
